Did you know watermelon is one of the most refreshing and photogenic fruits out there? What better way to capture Watermelon photos than a Watermelon mini session here in Wausau, Wisconsin! Summer is calling and even though we are still feeling the affects of winter, Wisconsin is known for its unpredictable weather. As a long-time photographer in the Wausau area, the weather by the 4th of July will be PERFECT, especially for our Watermelon Photography Mini Sessions! These sessions are one of my most popular every year, which is why I couldn’t wait to bring them back. Here are some of my greatest tips and information on what to expect at your next Watermelon mini session with Brittney E Photography.
Crank Up The Fun
My sessions are known for letting loose and having fun. I encourage all types of messes at a session, but especially with watermelons. Kids will take great bites, pose, and give great hugs during these sessions. The energy will be at an all time high, because how often do you get to have THIS much fun with watermelon? There is a clean-up station provided, which can make things a lot easier for this session in particular. I also encourage parents to bring an extra outfit for the kiddos just in case, too!
Available Props
It wouldn’t be a 4th of July themed party without the Red, White, and Blue colors! I include props such as mini American flags, along with a wagon for the children to sit and different types of stools. This mini session DOES have space for multiple kiddos and even can include cousins, best-friends, and more. These memories with children so young and priceless. Each child always leaves with a smile on their face and it absolutely melts my heart.
Bring On The Watermelon
There is no such things as a watermelon photography session without loads and loads of WATERMELON! Several watermelon will be cut up for children to enjoy eating and smiling. While others will be laid out on the floor as props. We come ready for some watermelon fun!
